THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN
M-G-M, 1960

Japanese director Akira Kurosawa's The Seven Samurai served as the inspiration for this enjoyable Western, directed by John Sturges (The Great Escape). It's the rousing tale of how a group of American gunfighters come to the aid of a village of Mexican farmers plagued by bandits.
